Question Flush O2 sensor with CO2 when not in use ?

I have a sensor in an o2 analyser, probably around 500 tests over 7 ish years
I made a silicone seal for the cap which means I have a 100% seal out of use
Still using it, again today.

Think as you choose

Being sure, is better

Inert your rebreather oxygen sensors

There is no need to do that and it may cause the sensor to die. A while back I attended a workshop hosted by Analytical Industries engineers who emphatically told us not to try store sensors in inert or other gases.
