It looks like the seas will cooperate this weekend. I will be aboard the Fling on the Flower Garden dive this weekend! I am pretty excited about it. I will be completing my AOW cert while I'm there. The only dive I have left is the deep dive. I feel giddy like a little kid.

You going with part of the LC group??...

I opted out when Cher called me up & told me of trip, looks like the seas will be 'OK' if that front can make it thru by Thursday----if not, hang onto your drawers-----tight...have a good trip....

Have fun! The Fling is a fun boat from what I hear.

You need make one of the 'better' trips----125 miles out------& a 125 miles in in 4-7' seas for 2.5 days can get 'exciting'.....1 time, only 7 of us out of 28 divers(they post everyone's dive profiles from each dive on a board) made all 7 dives----a lot confined themselves to their bunks with garbage bags all around them-lol.......some trips are NOT for the faint of heart...

Yes, it looks like the seas will cooperate Sat and improve Sun. But the ride out Friday night is going to be rough. It can be hard to sleep when the bunk keeps dropping out from under you.

I'll see you there.

Yes, I am going with the LC group. We've got our fingers crossed regarding the front. If all goes as we hope, the seas look very good for Saturday and Sunday. If Friday night is bad, I guess we will all be eating scopolomine that night, but hopefully, only Friday night.

A few years ago, I bough a sailboat in St Petersburg, FL. We motor sailed her back to Louisiana. For 2 days, we had 10' following seas in a 31' boat. That was a pretty nasty one.
