The area from Sebastian to Fort Pierce is a favorite for hunting. Extensive near-shore reefs and lots of entry points. Conditions can be a challenge due to surf, surge, and poor (zero) viz especially during winter months. Visit the Vero Beach Scuba Club on Facebook to check conditions. Right now...it's not diveable due to winds and surf conditions.

If you are willing to travel a ways south, patch reefs along S side of FL Keys were Great at one time…plus spiny lobster after Aug 1….

I’ve been there a couple times. Did some hunting from my zodiac. Long drive for me….

I going to hit the euro jacks off Dania and give that a try.

My recommendation about diving the Jules Lagoon in Key Largo was tongue in cheek.

Please don't go there expecting it to be any better than your average swamp.
