Hello everyone,
I recently completed Open Water certification along with my 3 children and just completed our first dive at Blue Heron Bridge!

Seeing as the hook has been set I am finding this board coming up often during my research, so figured I would sign up and say hello. This site is a tremendous resource for new divers.

Welcome to SB. Lots of great diving around south Florida and you’ll find lots of information on local sites on SB. Great people and lots of diving resources. Congratulations on the certifications

Welcome!!

Welcome! Lots of Florida local divers here on ScubaBoard! Be sure and keep an eye on the Florida forum for sure. If you "watch" the forum, you will get a notification for all new threads. That is a good way to help follow local activity.

Thank you for this. I went ahead and added it to the watch list. I have been making a bucket list on all the places I want to dive here.

When you find a thread of interest, you can also follow the thread as well and get a notification of all new posts. Lots of dive reports are posted regularly, especially for Palm Beach and Broward Counties and the Keys.

Welcome! I see you're up in Brevard County; i'm in Indian River (Vero Beach). A great local resource is the Vero Beach Scuba Club. Find the group on Facebook. It's free! Member dive all over and you'll find BHB dives, charters, and even travel (hint...i'm running a trip to Cayman Brac in Feb 2026!)

Come on up to the springs sometime. This is Cave Country, and all of the water is sweet.
