Planning a trip this summer for one week. What areas are must do? Probably could hit 3 different places. From what I have read, Key Largo should be one so we can do some wrecks. Any Dive Operation recomendations would be appreciated. Thanks.

I dove with Silent World a couple weeks ago and thought they were very professional. They run a 12 passenger boat but we never got past 8 divers. Also Scuba Do comes very highly regarded. They run a 6 pack boat.

MM 90 near Key Largo. They do all the wrecks and with service and top notch equipment. They actually real divers to dive! No shallow reef dives on the second of two tanks.

As already mentioned, Divers City USA.
Also, a nice six pack boat is Dive In at mm 98 in Key Largo. http://diveinflkeys.com/

Check out our website at www.BlueWaterDiver.net for descriptions of the USCG Cutter Duane and USS Spiegel Grove (just click on the hyperlinks at the top of our home page). We dive the wrecks often, and limit seating to ten divers max. Let me know if we can help.

I dive with Blue Water Divers all the time, you won't find a better Dive Op.

Dive In is great! They dive the Duane, the Spiegel Grove and the Eagle! I couldn't find anyone else in Key Largo that dove all three. Plus they are on the ocean side so the transit is much shorter. Their boat is really fast and gives a smooth ride. Capt. Joe and Dawn took really good care of my wife and I. They even took the two of us out when the other parties for the dive cancelled. Check them out, you won't regret it!

I took my nitrox course with them too, a very pleasent experience!

I have dove with Quiescence. They were very good. They have 3 boats and all are 6-packs.

As far as as place to stay... Azul Del Mar. You will not find a better hotel anywhere in the Keys. It IS pricey but you get what you pay for. If you are only staying in certain areas for short times... I highly recommend them.
