Florida Gulf Coast Newbie Needs Direction

Hi everyone, looks like an active forum with lots of great topics. I am hoping some experienced divers might be able to give me some direction on purchasing a moderately priced ( a set hopefully ) mask, snorkel, and fins. Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.

Snorkeling is one thing diving is another. If you are going to get certified then you need a scuba mask that fits " your face ", open heeled fins ( with springs if you can afford them ), booties with a good sole if you are going to be walking on rocks and a snorkel.
