Hey guys, hows it goin down there???

Well, I am coming to visit, and was wondering what you all thought was a good place to dive in the first two weeks of december...

Im thinking Northern FLorida, maybe hitting the springs, or Panama City, or if anyone has any suggestions....

I dont want to do the keys, been there, done that, and doin that again in March, so... thinking something different... also thinking about weather too...

Thanks for your replies!!!!!!!!

... and the weather cooperates, we'll be going - you're welcome to come along.

We do mostly wrecks, and mostly fairly far stuff out this time of year just due to the reverse thermocline - its actually WARMER at the bottom below 100' than it is above!

This, however, can make deco diving problematic unless you have a dry suit, as long hangs in a wetsuit when the top water is COLDER can get REALLY uncomfortable - you're not working, AND you're in colder water!

Vis tends to be pretty good out a good ways though, although yesterday it was awful in close - 10' MAYBE on a in-close reef we dove yesterday afternoon.

I hate going in close this time of year, and that's why - but we had limited time, so we took our best shot.
