A friend and I are going down to the Williston Florida area this weekend to try to get in some end of the year diving. We are both open water with about twenty dives each under our belts. We have both heard a lot about Blue Grotto, Devils Den, Rainbow River, Ginnie springs etc, and quite frankly all the information is a little overwhelming. I would love to see some recommendations on what would be the best choices for those two days at our skill level. My deepest dive so far is right at 65 feet and his is about the same. Thanks in advance for the help!

Devil's Den is neat to do one time but it's very small and basically a good place to teach. I take my students to Blue Grotto and Devil's Den for training. Ginnie is nice but can't really get any depth if that's what you are looking for. A better choice for you would be Manatee Springs or Troy springs. Just remember to stay within your training level and you should have fun at any site you dive. Most of the springs have caves, don't go in them. Dive Safe and have fun.

Thanks man, I appreciate the help!! I talked to a guy at the LDS a few minutes ago and he said roughly the same thing. Dont worry about the cave thing, im not one to push the envelope, I like breathing to much! Its almost like I crave it.....:14:
