A 49-year-old American has died following a diving expedition off Grand Bahama. #Police report that on Saturday, shortly before 5pm, they received information that a group of visitors from Florida was diving off Memory Rock, when one man reportedly began experiencing difficulty breathing.
#He was pulled from the water onto the vessel from which they were diving and CPR was administered. He was transported to West End, where he received medical attention by a doctor from the West End Clinic.
#He was then taken to the Rand Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead by a doctor.
#Police are investigating.
