Florida Dive Show 2007

What a surprise to learn of this dive trade show. I live in Miami, work in Ft. Lauderdale in the dive industry, am a avid diver and have just this moment learned of this event. Even a little advertising would have caught my attention - I don't have my head buried in a reef

This is it's third year, it's been held in West Palm prior to this.

If you like shipwrecks, this is the year to come. Both Richie Kohler and Leigh Bishop will be at the show and presenting. In between, they will be hanging out at the AUE booth (#304).

Can anyone compare this show (Dec. 1-3rd, 2007) with the Ft Lauderdale Dive Show (April 18-20, 2008)? The latter has been going longer, I know, but is one "bigger" or "better" than another?

The April one, Oceanfest, is significantly smaller. It is on the beach in tents, and a lot of fun. The FL dive show is held in a convention center, but this is the first year it is in FLL.
