Ok, I've now got the strobe attached to the arms, but the weight seems to be too much. I have 11Locline links and the arm just keeps falling over. We've taken out 5 links and it seems much better, but I was just wondering how many links people normally have.

Thanks,
Mel

Mel, don't be too concerned about it being floppy above water. The strobe is almost neutral underwater so it has plenty of strength to hold the strobe there. Do be careful when getting on boats. I find it's best to fold the arm up some before and at the end the dive. How many is up to you but the farther away you can get the strobe the better. I am using them as an extention of my Inon arm so I use anywhere from none to 12 but for me 6-8 seems like a reasonable size.

I have 8. (including the mounting ones) I fold the strobe over the top of the camera for entries and position it underwater. As herman said - it holds a lot better U/W.
