Yes, that's the one. Found a review online from a guy who installed in the EP-06 housing.....maybe he has improved it? The door on the housing is transparent..

Quite right! Silly of me! The leak detector is fine. I put one in my Ikelite dSLR housing. I'm not sure there is room in the PT-EP06 but if there is it would be great.

Guess I will order leak detector for both housings...my wife has one two, but her has never leaked :-) And, I'm the one who takes care of both housings!

The leak detector works just fine in the PEN housings.

…A vacuum system costs aprx 200,-, but could it be a good idea to install just a leak detector? …

All the non-integrated/separate electronic vacuum leak detectors I know of also include a water leak detector. Check to be sure. The integrated valve and detector unit don’t.

yes,the lens survived. It was the 60mm....:-) And also the memory card.

Did not have to clean and re-lube the housing for my former camera so often(lumix tz 10), and never had a problem. Stepped up to the Olympus PM1, so it seems I have to be more thorough with it..... I suspect the o-ring might be deformed, so I'll order new ones...

I guess you are talking about a PT-EP06 Olympus housing?

I have been using this housing for a couple of years and never had a leak (let's touch wood). I inspect, clean and re-lube the o ring twice a month at least depending on the circumstances and how often I dive. When I change the port I make sure that I install it properly. So far this housing is the best one that I have ever had.

yes, it's the Ep-06. And since my wife has no problems(I'm the one who inspect both housings before the dive), I wondered what went wrong....I'm now waiting for 2 leak alarms to arrive from Australia :-) And, Jeff, who makes these, have found a lot of faulty housings from Canon, and lately Olympus. Seems there are some faulty o-ring grooves on some of these housings......
