I am considering which of these to purchase, and was wondering about the differences between the two.

Is the 7 a better rig? I found a FH6 for $526 so I'm optimistic that it is a good buy.

Hoping to get some more informed opinions/information between the two of these.

Thanks in advance.

The cosmetic changes made the FH7 a much better looking regulator and the braided hose is a nice upgrade over the standard 32" hose. Very important upgrades for somebody somewhere. Looks are important. May
If you do not need the cold/ice capability, look closely at the Flathead XP or LT. These are the same regulator as the FH6 and FH7 but without the cold water capability..Both are less expensive, lighter and more compact.

That's an older model, a Flathead4!
