This might be a dumb question, but in my 1st stage the o-ring appears to be flatten. I bought it new and dove w/ it for ~10 dives. I started to look at the o-ring because today when I plugged the regs into my HP tank the bleed hole starts to leak air.

Is it normal to have o-rings to be flat? I know 95% chance of my question is no and I need to get a 111 o-ring, but I just want to make sure.

The o-ring should not be flat, replace it. It also should not flatten in just 10 dives either.

ya my guess is the regs been sitting on shelf for too long and the dust cap compressed o-ring flat. Just me being lucky for the past dives

Over time they do that. Although yours looks a little flatter than normal. I just replace them when the start to have that annoying slow bubble that comes out the tank valve.

Best thing to do is just buy a big bag of 100 or heck just get 2 bags then you and your friends are set for life. They are $3.61 per bag of 100 on McMaster. Get the 90 duro ones they last longer and do not flatten as easy. They can can just replace them whenever and not worry about it.

To be honest for some reason mine looks like the "square profile o-ring" when I took it off for a closer look
But since it looks like circular cross section ones are the way to go i am just gonna replace it

That happens to pretty much any DIN o-ring overtime. Totally normally but I replace when needed (e.g. they look bad or start leaking).

Grab a bag of 111 duro 90 o-rings to keep your dive kit and you'll be in good shape. Grab some 112s for other people too.

Another popular leak point is the internal DIN o-ring that attaches the DIN connector to the regulator body. This usually happens when the DIN fitting is not properly torqued and it will extrude. You should buy some 011 o-rings. Often times this o-ring is the real culprit and people will think it's the DIN o-ring.

You can replace it with O ring made from harder material ie. viton.
DGX used to stock pack of five for peanut.
I always carry a few when travelling.
BTW, make sure the stem is not loose(quite common for Apeks DIN fitting).
