flagging a thread?

Is there a way to flag a thread that I do not contribute to? I understand how to see a list of my "subscribed threads", but if I do not contribute to it, I'm not subscribed to it.

If not, is this a feature you'd consider adding? It happens to me all the time - I see a new post on a topic that I find really interesting and want to follow it, but with my pea sized memory I forget all about it just a few hours earlier.

Or if you use the "classic" theme and the box below QR is not there, you can go to the "Thread tools" drop-down menu.... Subscribe to this thread is one of the options there...
