My update alert devices. DSMB & finger spool are in right BCD pocket. The rest of the devices (Nautilus Lifeline nexGen, PLB1, storm whistle & Strobe light to be strapped on top of the DSMB) are in left BCD pocket.

Great kit and you obviously prepare for a left behind scenario (I also suffer from that paranoia). My only suggestion is to replace or augment the marker light with a marine strobe like the AquaTec.

The word on strobes was given to me by John Spillane (he was one of the rescued ANG crew in The Perfect Storm), he told me high mounted strobe is the only real way for a rescuer to find you at night.

The AquaTec is small enough to carry easily and I just stow mine on the velcro of the DSMB. It doubles as an underwater strobe too if you need to mark something.

Do you have anything to join divers together so that they don't get separated in current or float away from one another due to exhaustion, etc.?

Yes... That's what the 15-20ft of paracord is for.

Dragging a person or group on a tag line is not always the best option.
I did not say they had to be draged; a line will simply guarantee that the divers will stay with the boat till rescue comes. The info about the line was vague, that's why I asked.
