Hey guys weren't we planning a fishing trip last year that was suppose to be this year? I was in Toby's today and saw rods, reels, hooks, sinkers and plastic baits! I was excited and remembered this!

So are we still going?

give me a time and location. I'm game! My rod's collecting cob webs already. I need to use it. But it's only a 6lb line.

I go to caliraya. not the lake that is for advanced anglers (large mouth bass)

there is a place in caliraya the entrance is around php400 to 500 consumable

so you may use it to pay for the fish you take home or you use it for food. they also have rooms ... there is a playground as well.

set the date. it takes around 3 hours to get there via rizal.

2 hours only if we leave early enough...preferrably on a saturday. just to be sure...there's no dive ops there right?:D

Feb. 25!! Paolov, What do you mean Caliraya is for advance anglers? I have never been there, do we need a boat to fish in the lake?

What kind of fish will be fishing for?

the main lake is used by anglers for large mouth bass competition. they use fishing boats that costs 2,500 a day.

but we will go to a resort (farm actually) in caliraya where we may catch the following

1. tilapia
2. large head carps
3. hito
4. dalag
5. bass

just bring light tackles and the bait we use would be live worms or masa

if you wnat to take home them fishes you caught live, bring a large igloo or coleman with a portable aerator- this costs around 300 ata in cartimar , uses two size C batteries
