***nevermind, it's the same as the pixtreme/fantasea/intova PX21***

any experience with this strobe or others like it? i do most of my photos close so this seems like an affordable option....

3 power settings, not much adjustments. Using 2 strobes, will the 'low' power setting still be too strong when shooting closeups? But then, it seems to be a relatively weak flash, so 2 of them will not mean mega power output.

If you have manual modes in your camera, you can decrease light input by closing down the aperture. But if you have a P&S, then you might have to put it in mountain scenery mode.

P&S...Nikon L24/Ikelite combo...yup, even on the low setting with one, the strobe is is too strong with the #1 diffuser...had to work with different angles (too bad the flex arm i have doesn't have a wider range of motion) to get macro pics that weren't washed out. will work with my other arm set up and other diffusers to see if i can nail it down...the F/O connection seems to work pretty well, tho.
