First video hero2 mako lens red filter.

Had a great time in the bahamas last week, and I got to try out my new camera. Got the hero2 from mako spearguns with the free flat lens, and also the red filter, thanks to suggestions here at scubaboard.

Here is my first video, from stuart cove's shark adventure dive! I though it came out great for my first video.

That came out pretty good... but you really should edit out the part where you are messing with the settings (about 20-30 seconds) as the footage is difficult to watch.

Nice video. When I 1st used my GoPro, I was shocked at how good the free flat port and cheap $2 drop in filter works. It has become popular to accessorize the GoPro, but sometimes keeping it simple is just as good.

I like how Doc Mike re-used his photo strobe arms as a way to stabilize and hold his GoPro.

thanks. i am not sure how to go about the editing yet. yall have a favorite app i can use to get started? want to splice together all the good parts and add some music to it. i have about 20 clips total.

Windows 7 has a built in video editor that is ok. GoPro has one as well that is probably a bit better. From there you go to the paid software, goes from $100 to $1000......
