You have to be more specific, 3ccd HD or SD?
If you want to go for SD there is a camcorder sony 950 with a Sea&sea housing on e-bay, I dont know for how much but the bid will end in aprox. 20 hours.
The best

yeah, or the (obsolete) TRV900. Not sure if the PD range of cameras (SD) are 3CCD or not.

For HD, it would be the FX7? (actually 3x CMOS) or FX1/Z1U I think (3CCD)?

For HD I think it would be the FX7, it's about half the size of my Z1U. What really adds weight to my setup is the port. We went with the Fathom SWP44, which is a huge, heavy piece of glass. A smaller Gates housing (for the FX7) and a standard port wouldn't weigh nearly as much.
Tha Fathom port is fantastic though ... amazing field of view, full zoom through, and great image quality.

The smallest 3 chip HD would be the Sony FX7 (3 CMOS). It is a good 15% smaller than the FX1 housing set up, however, the low light performance of the FX7 are not as good as the FX1. If you are going with a Gates housing, you will definitely want to consider the Fathom SWP port. The current SWP44 mentioned by Bill above will not fit the FX7 housing. Gates and Fathom are working on a new SWP for that camera. I have had the opportunity to play with the FX7 housing down at Gates and it is a fantastic housing (as always). However, if I were making the decision myself, I would still be considering the FX1 camera over the FX7.
