Finally ... I will be leaving for Utila on the 19th of this month for a week long dive trip. I will be diving with Alton's Dive Center and since this is the whale shark season, I am keeping my hopes up for a whale shark encounter. I am signed up to do two boat dives a day but more boat dives can be added at an additional fee and I intend to do that.
I was wondering if anyone else would be there during those dates?
If anyone else has already done Utila, let me know your suggestions regarding any particular dive sites or favorite places or top-side activities. I am told that Utila does not have as many dive sites as Roatan and if you do Utila once the second time will be the same. Agreed? No.
I will be posting a trip report when I get back.
