We just completed our first trip to Bonaire staying at the Plaza Resort. We were part of a group of 62 divers on a trip arranged through Indian Valley Scuba in Harleysville, Pa. The Plaza was large, but efficiently run with well groomed grounds and large clean rooms.

We did three two tank boat trips and a night trip with Toucan Diving located on site. They did a nice job, but the size of our group was a bit overwhelming and they had to really work to keep up with the demand for Nitrox.

The weather was very good, visibility outstanding and the reefs were healthy and full of life.

We dove the Hilma Hooker wreck several times.

The Donkey Sanctuary is worth a visit.

They were a lot of fun and the sanctuary is a worthy cause.

Bonaire has such a large variety of easily accessible dive sites that it will take many visits to sample them all. Great trip.

Nice report and photos.

Glad you had a good time. Now that you've been and 'know the ropes' basically, it's much easier to go back, since you know what to expect.

Richard.
