First time to Mexico, Playa de Carmen - lots of questions

I just got back from the Playa del Carmen area on Thursday. It was great! As far as day trips, we did a catamaran sail from Cancun to Isla Mujeres with Albatros. We had a really nice day with them. The snorkeling was horrible - too many inexperienced people out at once in a small area, but other than that, the beach we stopped at after the snorkel as well as the lunch beach were great. The sailing around was the best part. I definitely recommend it.
In Playacar diving, I went with Barrakuda Scuba out of the Occidental and Royal Hideaway. They were top notch. I plan on going with them next time.
