My husband and I are considering a trip to Fiji in Nov. 2018 but I need advice on which island. We plan to stay for 7-10 days. I do not want long boat rides, preferably 30 minutes or less due seasickness. Want to see soft corals, love macro life but certainly find large critters to be fun too! Willing to spend around $5000 or so for accommodations, dining, food-prefer nicer places. Many seem to recommend Taveuni but not sure about that island during the rainy season. We are fairly experienced divers with 250 dives each but it's been mostly Caribbean, Hawaii and Tahiti. I welcome any and all suggestions. Thanks.
