Not to sound rude but go try one out for yourself before imagining a solution. Try out as many bp/w as possible... if possible.
As much as I'm a fan of the bp/w I found back inflates a lot less of a hassle to adjust. Just grab, pull the shoulder tabs n go. They are a great starter kit and the express tech should be no different.
