I think the majority of diaphragm regulators are environmenttally sealed. You may want to evaluate your chart.

I don't think that is true. Most are not enviro sealed but many can be converted or are available in an enviro version.

The post 1998 Conshelf has 7/16" hp and lp ports, if I remember correctly.

Both use the still available XIV service kit.

The later Conshelfs have 1/2" or a mix of 1/2" and 3/8" LP ports and usually 7/16" HP ports.

So far, I have never seen any regulator with 1/2" HP ports or 7/16" LP ports.

I have seen that some regulators that used to be built with 1/2" LP ports have gone back to 3/8" LP ports.

I have never heard of any manufacturer go from 7/16" HP ports back to 3/8" HP ports.

Note: these regulators use 1/8" British Standard Pipe Parallel threads (also called G 1/8") on the ports. They are similar in size to 1/8" NPT or 3/8"-24 but NOT interchangable.

I work for a company called Metaweb, where we are building Freebase: a collaboratively-edited database of cross-linked public domain data. I've created an area for Scuba Diving, where I've been I've been slowly migrating the info provided in this thread into a schema I developed for regulators (as I've been researching a new regulator purchase for myself).

The advantage of storing this info at Freebase is that, because it is stored in a structured format, you can ask for the data in a lot of different ways. Here are a few examples:

- All regulators in the database

- All Zeagle Regulators

- All environmentally sealed, balanced diaphragm first stages

- All 1st stages with five 3/8" low pressure ports

You can modify the view by clicking the "Add Columns" button and selecting the properties you wan included. Also note, if you click the "Use Results" button towards the top of the page, you can export all of these results into an Excel spreadsheet (and various other formats).

I'd love to create a centralized repository for all regulators, so if you have information about a particular model, it'd be great if you could contribute it. I've got a good deal of data on Zeagle and Scubapro regulators loaded, but there are still a ton of models and manufacturers missing. Obviously, the more data we can load, the more interesting the above (and other) views will be come. Also, if you have any suggestions on other useful properties to include (MSRP?, first manufactured data?), please let me know.

And just to be clear, this is public-domain data. The data stored in Freebase is all freely available via a Creative Commons license, so anyone and everyone is welcome to use the data how they see fit. There's also an API available to access the data for any programmer types.
