I have only started using the 50mm lens, with previous experience on the 35mm - which I like quite a bit because it will double as a "fish lens" as well. However, the F2 aperature on the 50mm makes a difference in live preview on the E-330.

I don't know that much about the Sigma 105, but it becomes a 210mm equivalent on the Oly and that makes for a field of view of 11 deg. vs. 24 degrees for the 50mm. Seems to me that it is starting to get a little tight??

It should work great for pygmy seahorses and similar. I was in Wakatobi about a year ago, and could not even see them let alone photography them! The DM would say "here's one" and I would say "where ... ??" ;-))

I know what you mean. I was able to get a few "keepers" with my 5050 & stacked macro lens adapters, but they are a ****** to photograph. The 4 - 6-inches of working room with the 105 is worth all the money I paid for it and its port!

This little guy is about 1/4" - the image is cropped.
