Well this is my first post, been browsing around for a couple days, and since the majority of my time is spent on the web, I'm glad I have found such a large community of divers.

Scuba has always been something I wanted to do, that I just never got around to. Born and raised in Socal (Orange County), spent 7 yrs. in the Coast Guard, all in California. After getting out and going to College, found myself land locked in Arizona, where I've been drying out for the last 8 yrs.

With a trip to Maui coming up at the end of the year, missing the ocean, and in search of a hobby, along with something to do while on my frequent trips back to Socal while visiting family. Scuba lessons finally popped into my mind at the right time.

I've just completed my SSI OW course along with RBS and ANDI Nitrox. Now just eagerly awaiting my checkout dive trip to Catalina/San Clemente, in about 3 weeks. I can't wait and am really looking forward to it.

Thanks for listening and glad to be here.

There are a lot of message boards out there... but then there's SCUBABOARD.com...
Be careful though you may just find it as addicting as diving :D
Great way to spend a surface interval waiting for the local waters and air temp. here to warm up!
