Hi all,
I was certified at age 16 and actively dove throughout my high school & college years. Marriage and family soon took priority with my time and I only dove sporadically during vacations to Hawaii.
I recently reconnected with my passion for the sport. I've had to purchase new equipment since mine was either outdated or too small (my waist seems to have expanded since I was 16).
I enjoy diving here in the Pacific Northwest as well as in tropical locations. Heck, I enjoy diving, period.
Does anyone have a suggestion as to which forums I should read? What about a strategy for keeping current with the posts?
Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Welcome to SB.

In the row of buttons beneath where it says "Welcome, Hoodsport_Diver" the forth one from the left says "New Posts". Click on that. On a busy day that will give you 9-14 pages of the most recent posts to scroll through.

If you have a specific issue or question in mind, third from the right is your friend. Click on Search, then advanced search, then enter keywords to search the archives. If you're not getting what you want, try refining your parameters. There are only a few topics in diving that haven't been beaten to death over the years, and none of them are on this board. Alternately, the same questions tend to come up over and over, so if you're patient you'll likely see your question pop up within the next three weeks or so. :D

Its quite a board, with literally a global span and our own ideosyncracies. In a few weeks you'll have it down pretty well.

Enjoy, and dive safe.
