I am going to Cozumel for a dive trip next month. I have had about 6 dives past open water cert in the Eastern Caribbean.

I would love to have people suggest to me the best sites, best memories etc. Really looking forward to this trip and I want to make the best of it. Shore dives, best companies to work with, etc.

Thanks,

Sean

Last summer Cedral Pass (Paso del Cedral) was the highlight of the trip. (July 29, 85F, 100' viz) Several nurse sharks, barracuda, turtles, eels. We dove the shore side of the Turtle Gardens in about 40-50' of water. Great last dive of trip.

In '05 I was just learning as you are now. Villa Blanca, near the Hotel Cozumel, was an easy, relaxing site. I remember because it is the site where bouyancy "clicked". We dove it multiple times as an afternoon dive because it was close and not extremely deep.

Have fun.

Welcome to the ScubaBoard! There are no bad dives in Cozumel!
