First OW dive - okay, first of the course (I did two dives in Thailand last year as part of 'discover scuba').
We'll be doing a shore dive to a rocky reef at around 8-9m. There's a sandy bottom and nothing around that should cause any concerns. Seemingly lots of crabs, starfish, baby cuttlefish and the like to have a look at.
Since we are only doing one dive today and then in the swimming pool later on we should have plenty time to relax and enjoy without needing to do heaps of skills - i'll be interested to see how quickly I hoover up the air at 8m compared to 1.4 m at the swimming pool!
