T&C Explorer is nice and they often have specials. I think my buddy and I paid $1599 two years ago. I thought the Cayman Aggressor was a better boat, better food, better cabins. Cayman diving was better too.

why don't jump in a plane and you can be in one day here in truk lagoon micronesia... we are far from norh/central america but diving here is exotic! Our liveaboard is offering a great food, great boat and crew and most off all fantastic diving..

a simply GREAT boat is the TURKS & CAICOS Aggressor based in Provo
lots & lots of carib sharks eagle rays but also lots of macro stuff
the boat is spotless ,food is the best i,ve had and the crew are stunning guests only have to swim everything else is done for them

Looks like you got visits by some of the boat crews themselves....

I'll add to my previous comment that a boat in a class something like the Damai, which has large cabins and which brings only a very small group of divers, is not going to have some rock bottom deal you missed out on so don't bother looking for it. The Aquacat and Explorers are nice boats which I wouldn't hesitate to take, but aren't in that class. My point is the field of candidates for your trip is finite and has similar prices.
