No, I think by "comment on the delta", he was asking for someone to discuss the differences.

I think the two classes are quite similar in intent and procedure, except that GUE does require the student to be entirely gear-compliant for the Primer, whereas Essentials only requires a long hose and non-split fins.

Sometimes people don't have the equipment for the class, and are renting or borrowing it -- I know I was, for Fundies. I went back to a Cobra computer for some time after the class, because it's what I HAD, and my husband had conniption fits over me giving up a perfectly good computer just because somebody else thought a brass and glass SPG was preferable. To this day, my husband uses his Cobra!

Coming from the Vegas dive scene its good to see some positive rep! Thanks for the post..

Delta = difference, sorry i was not clear...

The delta system looks , different... but not my question...

Thanks TSandM for the insight.. i was wondering about it and reading through the UTD site its not clear that the "requirements" are only a long hose and non-splits but "recomended" gear is what confused me (i took this for a given which was clearly incorrect)

Ah sorry my bad. Actually for this class, jeff made sure every one was gear compliant right down to jetfins.
