First dive with my new gear! wohoo

So this is what i have;

Deep Sea Supply plate, 30# wing, hog harness. I am not anything DIR but man, this thing is great. really slim, and super super comfy!! and the best part is, no straps to tighten or loosen or anything. it just fits right! btw, tobin at DSS has been a huge help! I highly recomend his outfit. and anybody who hasn't tried the backplate give it a try at least!

aqua lung legend/legend octo. last years model but it worked wonderfully (compared to rental stuff that is)

new oceanic veo 250 computer that I won at Pacific wilderness scuba in 10 cities, now that is the best part!

anyways, all was really great actually better then expected. to anybody who hasn't bought their gear i would highly recomend getting out and buying stuff that works for you! now i can go weekly for free! well, almost.

i am just thrilled at how well it all worked out for me. now i am off to the chamber dive on a boat tomorrow for 2 more dives. awesome!!!

I enjoy reading about the excitement someone has about any diving or equipment experience. I've been away from diving for a few years, but I bought all new gear before my first re-cert class. I'm glad I don't have to rent anything but a tank.

Congrats on your new gear! I am so jealous- I am waiting for my new BC (Chute 3) and reg setup (Tusa RS 130, Imprex octo, Tusa guages). They said I should get them Monday, but still not yet, but any day now, and I can hardly wait!
