hi everyone. im doin my first pool dive tonight and i cant wait. i have been doin a CMAS course for the past week or so but im finally using the scuba equipment to night..

thanks,
stephen

Congrats, Leos_rule. When you're sitting on the bottom, take a look up at the surface. I remember when I did it, calmly breathing underwater. Nothing quite like it.

Have fun, dont stress, practice all you can (wet and dry - think through what you practice when wet! during SI's).

Lay on the bottom if you can and just look at the surface and watch your bubbles break. It truly is a cool sight, especially your first dive. Just remember to stay calm and enjoy yourself :) Remember, it's supposed to be fun.

Now your getting to the good part, where it all comes together. You will love it. The pool is a great intro and it only gets better when you get to open water. Just remain calm and enjoy yourself.

Also, welcome :wavey: to the board. You'll learn a lot here and meet some great people.

Bill

I want to know how you feel about your first time under water (after the fact)! I don't care for pool diving, but love seeing the big grins when the gear is being stowed after the first pool session. Bill.

It was one of the best experiences of my life!!!!!!!!!!! and after i got over the pressue change it was like a whole new world. i cant wait to get back to another pool dive or better the sea
