Governments have a right to regulate some things which may affect certain first amendment issues. Those regulations cannot be based upon the content of the speech.

By best guess examples include:
You have the freedom of assembly, but often must get some sort of parade permit if you choose to assemble in the streets.
You have freedom of speech, but may be limited in the use of microphones and sound amplification equipment at certain times of day (ie no loudspeakers at 3am).

No, this just means your too chicken to take on the cops. If you're contemplating not using the loudspeaker...you need another beer.
 
Like many of you I'm struck with a new "right" this week: the First Amendment right to block rush hour traffic, whether by pro-tobacco terrosists or others.

Vegetarians beware: DC police will feed you bolgna sandwiches while you're incarcerated!:eek:ut:
