I just updated the firmware on my Teric for the first time and it reset my surface time to 0. I just finished a dive trip so not really an issue but don't think this should happen. Has any one else had this experience?

That is expected behavior and not an issue . Pretty easy to just remember to never do a FW update in the middle of a dive trip.

I don't do firmware updates right before a trip either.

Section 12 on page 81 of the Teric manual very clearly states that upgrading the firmware will reset the decompression tissue loading, and to plan repetitive dives accordingly. This is working as intended.

I seem to recall that there's a warning message right on the screen that "tissues will be reset" when about to start a fw update.

oops, sorry.
