blue moon, look out you will become addicted to photography before you know it, your pictures are great from what i saw and i will have too look at the rest as soon as i have a moment, as i am swamped, just got back from the phillipines, the photography starts out cheap and goes way up from there , and id say you now have the bug, photog junkie bug that is, good luck with the knew toy and keep up the GREAT work!!!!:D

Jim,

Thanks for reply. I really enjoyed your gallery. I seem to get inspired every time I click on a new gallery...

I understand what you mean about the ongoing expense... At the moment, I figure that I really should upgrade my software..... Not sure what I need yet but I'm sure that it will cost more than I should spend but I'll somehow manage to figure out a way to make myself belive that it I really need it and can justify it...

Thanks again!

Thanks very much Blue Moon, I learn more everyday

I neglected to ask another question. Did you shoot any videos? I am thinking that I want to go straight to a 2gb card as that would work well with just about anything that I throw at it.

SharkLover,

Since I picked up my camera the day before I left for Cozumel, I did not play with it enough to feel comfortable trying the video out u/w... I should have but I did not know if it would eat all the space on the card or eat the batteries... On the list to try next time....

The 2 Gb card sounds like a good idea... I'll put it on my wish list along with new software and rechargeable batteries.... Let me know how the video works out for you when you get yours.

Best,

Blue Moon
