I called the local community college today and found out the scuba class where I wanted to get a refresher was not going to happen. While I was talking to the Dean (have known him a good while) I mentioned it was a shame and guessed I would have to take the refresher when I find a buddy to go with me to Key Largo. He asked when I was going and when I told him September was my target he said "count me in." He regularly goes to Bonaire and thought Largo would be good for a new experience. The good news is that he doesn't care that I am essentially starting over. He described himself as a slow easy diver who likes to look at stuff and is not that interested in the deepest dive or enclosed spaces. Sounds like we will be good buddys. I will finally get my new gear wet in salt water.

What a cool story! You'll have to come and tell us about the trip.
