Ok this may be very stupid to ask - but i am not afraid to ask it...

If I set our dive computers to Fiji time in the US. Will they be accurate when we land? I am having hard time mentally processing this concept of leaving on Thursday and landing on Saturday.

Thanks

If you think that's bad, wait until you fly back and arrive before you leave.

Assuming you set your computers correctly, there is no reason for them not to be accurate when you get there.

Well, as long as you set the date correctly. If you were in LA now you would need to adjust the time 19 hours forwards which may, depending on the time of day, mean changing the date too. e.g. If you fly at 6pm Pacific Daylight Time in LA on 7th April, it is 1pm on the 8th April in Fiji so set your computer etc to that date and time.
I hope that helps. :-)

Thanks guys I will get them set before we leave. Very excited to dive Fiji!

If you really want to be accurate, set them when you get there. Crossing the international date line is very confusing.
