my wife and i are heading to fiji for about a month next november. we mostly freedive. we want to get out and visit islands and the people. aka locals. trying to avoid thousands of dollars each at resorts. i'd rather buy a boat and do some independant stuff. is it possible to get a small dive boat (18 feet w/ 30hp) in nadi and head for smaller islands with good nautical charts and gps.. etc. not looking for lectures. advice if you've done it or KNOW that it can or can't be done. please don't start reply with "anything can be done...." cheers t low
