....if 'chipping' the fiberglass will destroy a fiber-wrapped tank, how does one get it hydro-stamped? Metal tanks get the hydro-stamp 'pounded' into the metal.......what happens to the water-proof exterior of the fiber-wrapped tank when it's time to stamp it?

See my reply further ... as mentioned we use STEEL tanks, CARBON FIBRE wrapped. top en bottom of these tanks are same thickness are standard steel tanks, only the body is thinner and wrapped with fibre. STAMPS are in the top, as normal tanks.
I will try to get you a picture on this forum within short time ...
