FFM w/ facial hair

I may apply to join a dive team that uses AGA full-face masks. Will I have to loose the beard?

I have a beard and have dove with AGA masks, although not extensively. I don't recall any problems with leaks or flooding. YBMV- your beard may vary

having dove AGA I can tell you from experience. YES...for me I had to be clean shaven. At least no beard/hair around the face seal. It was irritating for me. Other divers I knew said the same. I switched to Ocean reef FFM which were great and then tried an EVO. Skin to seal for me worked best or I wore a full hood and that also worked well. Sealed just nice. The seal of the FF went over the thin hood we had which made it SCUM/Polution free. Diving in...questionable waters from time to time. But if I were you I would try one to see if it works for you...and if you never dover a FFM before. Chances are your going to hate it for the first 10-15 dives...you like it or hate it.
