I'm finishing my studies and I'm looking to spend around 2 or so months diving before joining the workforce.

Ideally, I want to find something that offers unlimited diving and I'm pretty keen on doing a divemaster internship since I have intentions to move onto instructor at some point.

I'm probably more interested in paying rather than having to work in the dive shop. Since I plan to pay, it will need to be somewhere that is fairly cheap (within reason) since I will be living off savings for a while and also it needs to be somewhere where speaking only English won't be a problem. I also plan to go in Feb 2018.

Does anyone have any experience with such programs? I found one with thresher divers in the Philipines that seems pretty good (it's a bit of a pain to get there though), so I want to least check some other options.

Thailand. Koh Tao. Or something like that. Cheap to live. Mostly young people. Biggest PADI dive shop - Bans and about 50 other dive shops (really 50 more) to choose from. We went for 22 days. Really enjoyed it.

Yeah alot of people are recomending it, can you suggest any shops there?

We stayed and I did almost all of my diving with Goodtime Adventures. Look them up. Would post a link here for you - but I don’t know how. Hahaha. They have speed boats vs the slow fishing type boats that you will see lots of. Smaller groups on their boats allows them to go sites quicker and can pick sites that perhaps the fishing boats aren’t at. They have a restaurant in their shop also. They also do more than scuba... Rock climbing etc. We were there for 22 days. Didn’t want to go home. Hahaha. Enjoy Thailand!!
