I have found a great price from Miami to San Pedro Sulu...does anyone know how long it takes to get from the airport to the ferry... Need to make sure I can make connections or if not where is a reasonable safe place to spend the night in San Pedro.
Help I need to book fast...
Thanks,
Lynn

Going to Utila or Roatan? Here's some recent Utila details:

In order to get to Utila the same day you must be in San Pedro by 1.00 pm as the flight from San Pedro to La Ceiba leaves at around 2.00 pm to connect with the flight from La Ceiba to Utila at 3.30 pm. If you cannot get to San Pedro in time then you can spend the night in San Pedro and we can recommend a hotel with airport service. The local flights do not come into Utila on a Sunday, Tuesday or Thursday.

We are going to Roatan.... sorry... any help with that?

We did Continental thru Houston and bypassed all that. Although the stuff I posted above also applies to Roatan. You have to get to La Ceiba in time for the last ferry which I believe to Roatan is the Galaxy leaving at 4:30PM. Here's all the options although some may not be current:

Transportation, Getting to Roatan Island, Honduras

From what I've read the SPS to La Ceiba flight is the potential problem as it's very unreliable.
