yup... very scary...

lots of people out there who are spoiled rotten and will act like children when
they don't get their way, as if it is their God-Given-Right that their wish is the
world's command...

alas... when they are disapointed, they lash out.
 
I've learned a little trick with ebay - I watch an item right up to the last minute. If the price is still in my range (all things considered) I'll put in my max bid. In one instance in the past week, I let it go and expire with no bids, then I wrote the guy selling it and asked if he would sell it for less. I got it! I'll be picking it up this Saturday afternoon and brining it home after Oceanfest! :)

We just got a 55 Ford that way for 300.00 less .
 
I have also bought the same stuff again for the same stores for the same price as i ended the auction on (nice kayak paddles for $100 and same again at the store compared to $200 MSRP), thinking of doing it for double tank bands too - although i didnt win that auction i was offered that price ($55) which i thought sounded good.
