Just wanted to know if anyone has experience this? I was doing some training yesterday in about 15 feet water touching up on some skills going to the bahamas in Sept. Then finally went out to point A and turn around used up about 1500 psi in depths 25 to 30 feet of water when i came up with about 500 psi left I felt light headed and a slight headache.Thought maybe it was because I did not eat well only had a bannana before the dive. Had something to eat and still felt like garbage. Called Dan this morning he said he highly highly doubts its the bends because of the depth i was in. Has anyone had anything like this? Any info would be helpful thanks

It's hard to say for sure from your description of the dive, but the first thing I thought of when I read the symptoms was a CO2 headache caused by excess CO2 in your system. That can happen in any depth of water if you over-exert yourself enough.

Just time and take it easy I imagine would be the advice correct. Like right now if I move my head fast I get lightheaded and the head pain is like a hangover to best describe it

Is English your first language? I'm sorry, but your post is challenging to read, much less understand. Punctuation marks are free. If English it not your primary language, ok - but putting your location in your profile will help with understanding. And this looks odd: "Called Dan this morning highly think it is the bends because of the depth i was in." They thot you got bent from a 30 ft dive? I doubt that.

This is usually an ear problem. Run a Search on "dizzy" in our Medical and Dr Deco forums for loads of answers.

If you are saying you are still having those symptoms, then no, now I doubt it's CO2. Excess CO2 would get out of your system pretty rapidly after you surface. Maybe you did some damage to your inner ear. Seek medical attention.

Contaminated air, perhaps?

I have read this in the past contaminated air but what I have read you can taste it correct? Did not taste anything different

I used to get headaches as well, and I was told that I was doing "skip breathing", holding my breathe (never while ascending/decending though) to try to make the tank last longer. Several people told me that the excess CO2 that was being built up when I was holding my breath was causing these headaches. I stopped skip breathing and the headaches stopped. Now I just try to keep calm and do yoga style breathing, slowly in, slowly out and steady and this seems to work well.

The headaches where second first thing I noticed was dizziness when I surfaced and took of my mask. I can explain the headache, dizziness like a hang over and no I did not get trunk the night before lol
