I have been an instructor for 30 years and just returned from leading a group to Palau. I hadn't been back to Palau since the mid nineties, back then you only had one choice for an airline to Palau, now there are several economical ways to get to Palau. There are a few good options for land based places to stay that are really a great value. We stayed at Sea Passion. Not a four star property but fine and very convenient. Nice size rooms with functioning air and flat screens. Breakfast buffet included. Did 19 dives - most great. Though Blue and German Channel are the most famous dive sites in Palau - and lived up to expectations - my favorite was Ulong Channel. It had everything that makes Palau wonderful. Great corals, fishlife and the big stuff. If you want some advice about making this trip profitable with great new air routings, send me an email and I will send you more details and if you happen to live in the Midwest like I do there is an incredible new fare with only a one stop routing to Palau!
