i thought about so many places to dive during feb-march next year.
i hear so many good things about thailand. so most likely my plan is head
towards that direction. i'll be diving there for 3 weeks.
would you recommend to change the island everyweek?
i wouldn't mind stayinig in the same spot(because i might get the deal?)
but if you really recommend to move around, i would.

what do you think?

Welcome to the board!
I've never had the "problem" of staying that long.

Welcome to SB! Phuket would be a nice base as you would not only be able to dive around the island but would also be closely located to Phi Phi (about 2 hours by boat) and would be able to arrange a Liveaboard cruise to either the southern islands - Hin Daeng/Hin Muang or to The Similan and Surin islands further north. Feb/March is a nice time to visit - the weather is hot and so the best place to be is in the water! Apart from the diving there are also other activities and tours that can easily be arranged on arrival.
Have a great holiday!

Thank your reply, you guys! I don't have any dive friends here in san francisco, ca.
so i feel better buy hearing from somebody who has experience diving.

So I'll head to thailand during these months.

question about pricing and may be internship position.
how much would it be for doing 30 to 40 dives?
and do you think it's possible to do internship during that time?(only for a month though...)

I finished rescue in venezuela and finished half of dm course. (theory part)

I need to have more diving experience. want to dive dive dive aaaaaand dive.
but I would like to help out the dive shop and learn show the shop runs at the
same time.

thank you for your help!

erenazul: I did that last year. Thailand is an awesome place to dive. 1 week in Koh Tao, 1 week in Phi Phi, 1 week in Koh Lanta.

I really love diving near Phi Phi. I did some of the sites several times.

In October I was in Thailand for 6 days. I took the taxi from the airport to Pattaya, did my Nitrox and flew out next day. There are so many things to do in Thailand...Diving is just an extra added bonus.

Next time I go there I will try the live-aboards. In fact, I could be there at the same time as you. I am just planning my trip now. I am 100% sure you will love it.
