The optimal settings you use are going to be based on the conditions you're shooting in and what you're shooting rather than the camera you're using. You can't really determine precisely what your settings should be beforehand. Your best bet is to experiment to find the settings that work for you, and do so in manual mode so you can easily make fine adjustments to your exposures as you go.
